Services and eligibility POLICIES:
When an individual or family is pronounced eligible for services (pastoral counseling), they are awarded twelve one-hour-long sessions. At the end of the allotted sessions the needs of the family may be revisited for possible extensions (three additional sessions) at the discretion of the board.
Eligibility may be determined on ability to pay, but is first established based upon the traumatic nature of the individual’s or family’s situation.
In that these sessions are a gift to the recipient, should the recipient choose to not use all the sessions, the recipients are not entitled to any sort of “refund” since they have paid for nothing.
Possible clients are informed at the start of their relationship to TSAC, that the services are rooted in Biblical Scholarship and the Christian Faith. Clients need not be Christians, but know that all counsel is from a Christian world-view.
